If you’re planning a trip to Oahu, you’re in for a treat! This island is a paradise for food lovers, bursting with flavors that reflect its rich cultural heritage. From mouthwatering poke bowls to delectable malasadas, the best places to eat in Oahu offer something for everyone. Here’s a list of some of my favorite spots to eat on Oahu.

There’s nothing like a poké lunch on the beach! Poké Bar’s poke bowls are always so fresh and made to order. Order one from the menu or customize your own! They have locations all over, but I come here every time I’m in Waikiki since it’s right on the beach and so delicious!

Liliha Bakery

Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck

Giovanni’s lives up to the hype! I can see why this place is always packed. Head over to Giovanni’s for their famous garlic shrimp. There are three locations: Waikiki, Haleiwa, and Kahuku. We went to the Haleiwa location, where there were a bunch of other food trucks to check out!

Doraku

Doraku might be my favorite sushi place in Waikiki. The food is amazing, the drinks are great, and the restaurant has a great vibe. Located on the 3rd floor of the Royal Hawaiian, stop here for happy hour or dinner after a day of shopping!

Harbor Pub & Pizza

The Harbor Pub and Pizza is another place that we have to go to every time we come to Oahu. A place for locals and tourists alike, they have great happy hour prices, good drinks, and the best pizza in Waikiki!

Okina Cafe

We found this food truck up in Haleiwa and had to stop. Okina Café has some amazing Hawaiian food. We tried the kalua pork sliders, and they hit the spot. Check this spot out when you’re on the North Shore.

Shabuya

This was one of my favorite meals from our trip. I love a good hot pot, especially one that is all you can eat. They had so many fresh vegetables, seafood, noodles, and meat to choose from. Highly recommend coming here if you’re near Ala Moana.

Chart House Oahu

The Chart House was established back in 1968 by Legendary Surfer Joey Cabell. Come to The Chart House for great steaks and a view of the harbor. Located right above the Habor Pizza and Pub, The Chart House has great vibes, excellent food, and live music nightly.

Furusato Sushi

This snug establishment has about six tables plus a sushi bar but has some of the freshest sushi in Waikiki! Great sushi rolls and Japanese food.

Tiki’s Grill & Bar

Located on the second floor of The Twin Fin hotel, Tiki’s offers classic tropical drinks, great food, and live music. This will be your go-to happy hour spot if you stay at The Twin Fin.

The Kuhio Avenue Food Hall has everything! Choose from their 10 food concepts and 3 bars for delicious food. Pictured is Cheehoo’s BBQ, which was so good but SO much food!

Dole Plantation

Leonard’s is a bakery known for their fresh malasadas, and they are truly the best on the island. Boasting five locations in Hawai’i, Leonard’s is a staple! Pro tip: Go to one of their mobile locations to avoid the long line at the original store.

I first noticed Marugame Udon a few years ago from the line wrapped around the building night after night. This year, we finally had to try it for ourselves. It was late, so we decided to order through their to-go window, and once we got back to the hotel to try it for ourselves, we understood the hype! Check this spot out for the best udon.

Oahu Mexican Grill

OMG gives Chipotle vibes but BETTER. This is another great lunch spot. Get a burrito to go for a beach picnic or enjoy in their open-air dining room.
